Terrapin Horse Center

Welcome to Terrapin Horse Center!  We are a horse rehabilitation facility located in Swansboro, North Carolina, 14 miles east of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and 10 miles west of the beaches of Emerald Isle.  We work tirelessly to provide a safe, healthy, positive and loving atmosphere for our horses.

We cater to those individuals interested in natural horse care and alternative or integrative therapies for horses and pets.

Educational workshops and lectures on various horse related topics are offered at Terrapin Horse Center. Please view our News and Events page for a schedule of upcoming events at our facility or the surrounding area.

Sunday - Closed

Terrapin is a PRIVATE facility and is NOT open to the general public for walk-in visits. We ask that all visitors please  call  ahead to schedule an appointment.
